These classes will kick your butt!  Every teacher has been awesome and pushed me farther than I thought I could go.  Definitely recommend it!

10/16/2011

I love this place.  The teachers are motivating and fun. We all have fun in class, supporting each other.

I was born an athlete, and never has my body been challenged at this capacity both mentally and physically.

I joined Fierce Fitness 6 weeks ago and I have to say this has been the best investment I've made this year. I work fulltime as well as attend school fulltime and with the many different class times to choose from I am able get five solid workouts in each week.

The thing I love most about Fierce Fitness is the fun, pain, and gain of every class. I had a traditional gym membership at a local gym and was never truly motivated to get on a cardio machine for an hour a day. I was bored. At Fierce Fitness, not only do you get a full body workout each class but it's FUN! Hitting a bag and working out to great upbeat music is something I look forward to everyday.

In addition, I have suffered many injuries due to sports and I love how there are modifications to every exercise do you still are engaged fully the whole time.

Lastly, the sense of teamwork is amazing! There is a wide range of body types, strength levels, age groups, and everyone is striving for their own goals but at the same time encouraging everyone around them to push themselves. The trainers Sophia, Candice, and Jennifer really make an effort to get to know you and teach you the proper technique so you get the best out of your workout.

Love it!

Sophia's classes are tough and will keep you working at your optimal cardio level.  With over 50 lbs to personally lose, I can honestly say "YOU can do this!"

I did my first round of the "Commit to Be Fit" program nearly 10 months ago and have been hooked ever since.  At the time that I started, I was at my heaviest and possibly in the worst shape of my life.  I've been an athlete on and off for much of my life, including being a runner for several years.  I'd even ran a marathon!  However, after entering a doctorate program, I had really "let myself go".  I found Fierce Fitness right when I was in need of a big change.

Coming in for my first class, I had done lots of "kickboxing" aerobics classes in the past, but I had never put on a pair of gloves and had never punched or kicked before.  For my first few classes, I was able to follow along, but I did struggle a bit to keep up.  The trainers and folks in the class were very supportive and encouraging though.  They just kept telling me to keep moving and to maintain good form to avoid injury.

I worked hard and after my first six weeks, I had lost several pounds, several inches and 4% body fat.  A couple weeks later, I went on vacation and felt good enough to wear a bikini!  On that trip, my husband and I also did yoga several days in a row.  I was amazed by how easy it was for me to get into and hold some difficult poses... even though I hadn't regularly done yoga in years!

Fast forward to the present and I've lost even more weight, more body fat, and over 14 inches, including 4 inches around my belly and 4 inches around my hips.  My muscle mass is up too, but more importantly, so is my self-confidence.  I feel stronger, healthier, more empowered, and dare I say... sexier!

I used to think of my mid-twenties, back when I was running a race every single month as "the best shape of my life".  Now in my thirties, I feel that "the best shape of my life" is ahead of me... All I have to do is keep showing up to Fierce Fitness, where I can count on my trainers and peers to challenge me and encourage me to keep up the good work!

Fierce Fitness is a one of a kind establishment and offers a program and work out regimen unlike any other. I originally looked up FF some time ago because I've always been interested in trying kickboxing. The kickboxing classes are intense, fun and it's so satisfying to kick and punch your way through a workout.  After months on an elliptical and treadmill, the kickboxing classes were just what I needed. Fierce Fitness also offers a 6 week Commit to Be Fit program that incorporates a lot of kickboxing moves along with resistance bands, core balls, medicine balls and floor work that really work together to get you in crazy good shape. After my first 6 week CTBF, I lost 10", 10lbs and 4% body fat. It is definitely a commitment but if you are serious about getting in better shape, this program will take you there. The staff at FF are an integral part of the experience as well. Having dedicated instructors there every morning (or evening) for questions and encouragement really holds you accountable and takes out some of the drudgery usually associated with working out.  I read every review on and about FF before I joined, and I am happy to say they've all been proven true.  If you're here, reading this review, it's because you're interested. If you're interested, take just one kickboxing class and see if you like it. If you like it, sign up for a month... and, when you're ready, sign up for a 6 week Commit to Be Fit program. You will not regret it. It is fairly expensive but, when it came down to my finances vs. my physical well-being, I took the leap and am so glad I did because I cannot get a better work out than this on my own or in a class at the gym... and 30 personal training sessions would cost waaaay more! I just finished my 2nd CTBF and have already signed up for a third. The CTBF program takes the guess work and self-negotiating out of your workout, it's diverse and intense and kind of addictive. Although it's a 20 minute drive for me every morning, I will be a FF member as long as I'm in Portland and they keep running such an amazing program!

At 36 years old, kickboxing 3 mornings a week at Fierce Fitness has made me feel like I'm in my mid-20s again.  I've been working out there for 4 months now, and it naturally makes me continue to push myself more and more.  My core stability, my balance, my flexibility and my explosive strength are all the best they've been in years!  This is the first workout regimen that I've ever been motivated to stick with and continually push harder in...and as a lifelong athlete who wants to continue to be competitive in volleyball, basketball, baseball, waterskiing, and snow skiing, it's really been rewarding to find a workout that works directly toward all of these!

As a Physical Therapist, here's what I see as being key in my success using kickboxing as an ongoing training regimen:

1)  Fierce Fitness instructors know what they're doing--they emphasize form and technique, they implement current exercise physiology concepts (e.g. "muscle confusion", strengthening throughout the available range, importance of balance and "core stability", etc.), and they push like hell!

2)  The high variety of punches, kicks, and general body control in an hour session means every muscle in your body gets a workout, and the instructors design workouts that vary speed, intensity, and power...so you never get to a point where you've accommodated.

3)  It's just plain fun to challenge yourself to hit harder, kick higher, duck quicker, and find a balanced "center" as you push yourself physically and mentally.

4)  Last, I've seen the strength, explosiveness, stability, and flexibility translate to every sport I've done this year.  I'm going out the first time of the "season" skiing stronger, throwing further, jumping higher...and all without injury (knock on wood).

Seriously.  So fun and so worth it.

I have been working out at Fierce Fitness since November 2010.  I have done running/walking programs and weight lifting programs in the past, and what I love about Fierce Fitness is the diversity of the workouts.  The classes are never the same two days in a row, but always a challenging and fun workout.  The workouts incorporate cardio, strength and endurance with the use of medicine balls, core balls, resistance bands and kickboxing technique.  By using the resistance bands, which I have never used before, I feel like my functional strength has increased.

I just attended their first Hip Hop Kickboxing class this last Friday and absolutely loved it!  I look forward to more!

The staff is amazing at Fierce Fitness.  Everyone is so supportive and eager to help you in any way.  Thank you to all of the great staff!

Fierce Fitness Kickboxing has CHANGED MY LIFE!!!  I have been on a weight loss journey for the past 11 months.  I had lost approximately 60 pounds before discovering Fierce Fitness just over 5 months ago.  I was on a plateau with both my exercise regime and my weight loss.  Enter Fierce Fitness.  In five months I have not only lost an additional 20+ lbs, but I have MUSCLE DEFINITION like I've never had - ever!

Fierce Fitness has not only helped me make my body stronger, but the AMAZING staff have also helped me hone my mental toughness. I am preparing to RUN my first half-marathon next weekend (I have never been a runner...until 4 months ago).  During my training for this event, when I thought I could no longer go another step, I would hear one of my instructors (Brandi) in my head saying, "You can do anything for 30 seconds."  And you know what?  I can - and I do...and that attitude carries me through the next mile, and the mile after that.

Every person at Fierce Fitness is incredibly supportive, kind, energetic, and positive!  From being greeted with a warm smile and a genuine inquiry about your day by Stephanie at the front desk to the encouraging shouts during class from instructors Brandi, Sophia, Candise and Jennifer, I could not be more impressed with an exercise facility.  It's like a big family - and it has been from day one.  I eagerly await each workout and feel ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE after each one!  I intend to continue with Fierce Fitness for years to come...there is no better way to start my day!  Thank you, Fierce Fitness, for helping me create the body/mind/spirit that I have desired for so long.  You are amazing!

4/29/2011

I have been exercising all my life and have never had an experience like Fierce.  Even though I've exercised I've never been good at pushing myself past my comfort zone which is how you  get results..... so I've been so frustrated working out and never seeing any improvement.  Until I found Fierce Fitness!  The work outs are challenging, I've seen the best results ever from the workouts, and there is the group encouragement which is priceless.  I am stronger, more fit, look good, feel amazing, and have a great sense of belonging!  Thank you Fierce Fitness!!!

4/27/2011

Fierce Fitness is the best. I did the 6 week Commit 2 years ago and it was the most amazing thing I had ever done for my body. Due to health issues I had to take a step back and was eager once I had the okay from my doctor to exercise again to get back. You are challenged beyond anything you could ever do on your own (at least me). Even when I was in the best shape of my life and 60+ pounds less than I am now I could never even attempt to do a pull-up. After my first 6 weeks, even though I am still doing them assisted my strength is double what it was at the beginning and I feel stronger than I ever have. Same with push-ups.I* lost an incredible 7 inches off my belly and 10 pounds of FAT! It's such an amazing feeling to literally watch your body change and feel it get stronger and stronger. My attitude about everything in my life is more positive. My skin is clearer, my smile is wider, and my jeans are looser.

Sophia has been my instructor the entire time and is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met in regards to nutrition and fitness. Any questions or concerns are easily addressed without any feeling of embarrassment. Coming in overweight and out of shape was intimidating. There are some seriously fit people at Fierce, but it is the best motivation because you know they got there by doing what you are doing that very moment!

I turn 30 in July and am working towards a goal of getting my ideal shape back. That ideal has changed though to a strong, lean, happy, and healthy version of myself.  I know I have a long road and it won't happen without hard work. But with Fierce in my corner I know I'll get there before 31.

Thank you Fierce Fitness, Sophia, and my fellow 6:30 am classmates!

I used to go to a boxing gym in the Bay Area and was so happy to find  Fierce Fitness Kickboxing after moving to Portland.

Kickboxing is a great way to work out because your body never gets used to it. Each class is different and each instructor has a different approach. You will always get a good workout and won't get bored. That was my problem with regular gyms, they was sooo boring. Even when I tried to make it exciting by going to their "kickboxing" classes, I was still very disappointed because  they were really just a glorified dance class. Here at Fierce, the instructors are great and the people are all very friendly. You immediately feel comfortable!

It's no longer just a workout, it's a fun way to challenge your body. Once you try it you won't want to go back to those other gyms.

Wow!  My friend convinced me to go for a tryout class after she joined on Groupon.  I was weary, because of all the classes I have taken at other gyms.  But when I got there they actually had gloves, bags, and wraps.  The class started and I immediately was sweating.  The class literally kicked my butt, which is what I wanted.  The thing is, no matter what your skill level is (mine was low)  you can enjoy and participate int he class.  I take a Zumba class at a diff gym, I love the music but after 4 weeks and still struggling learning the dance moves.  Thats what is great about FFK I walked in gloved up and immediately caught on to the sets they were doing.  Of course, I joined that day for 2 x a week.  I have been going for 4 weeks and have lost 3 pounds and my kicks have gotten higher and my punches stronger.  I love it and hope to take their boot camp at the next session.  It's fun, quick to learn, easy to adjust exercises to your fitness level, you will feel powerful and empowered.  Best birthday present I ever gave myself :)

Extreme, intense and rewarding are just a few words that describe Fierce Fitness.  A little "hole in the wall" place that sits just off of Multnomah Blvd., Fierce Fitness delivers anything and everything that a person could ask for in a full body workout.  From your arms to your legs and your core to your shoulders, you can be assured that the workout you will experience at Fierce Fitness will be challenging each and every time you step foot into that building.

Personally, I knew I needed to do something about my way of living and my life as all I had been doing was sitting around all day getting fat.  My confidence had diminished to nothing and, honestly, I hated myself for letting myself get to the point that I had.  As a former athlete, I thought to myself that I could easily lose weight and get back into shape any time I wanted to, but I was just lying to myself.  I feel I had let myself and my family down, healthwise, each doctor visit had been getting worse and worse for me.  I needed to workout, but I wasn't too fond about joining a place where other people workout as I wasn't comfortable, and never have been comfortable, with working out in front of other people, but I decided to join the Fierce Fitness Commit to Be Fit program with my wife.

At first, I thought the workouts were going to be easy and we would ease into it as I got used to them, but my first impression was wrong, to say the least.  My very first day, it felt like I jumped into an ice cold swimming pool head first without testing the waters first and I had a hard time catching my breath.  You know that feeling where you think that you shouldn't have jumped in and you want out as soon as possible, but, then, you gradually get used to the water and it starts to feel good after a while?  That feeling.  I could barely get through the warm-up phase in the first workout and only lasted, honestly, about 20-25 minutes before I had to stop because I was feeling sick and uncomfortable.

The night, after my first workout, I was very, very sore, and I had a choice to make: suffer this soreness and pain for nothing, take the easy way out, and not go back in the next day OR stick with it and get back into shape again.  I opted to stick with it and go back in the next day.  I can say, without hesitation and with confidence, that the choice to go back in was one of the best choices I have ever made in my life.

I experienced extreme soreness and couldn't use my arms or walk right for the first three weeks, but, then, the soreness went away and the workouts started to become fun.  I couldn't notice myself, but other people that I had interaction with had noticed that I was looking better than I had before I started working out.  This was a confidence booster in itself and made me want to keep going in to get stronger and lose more weight.

Now, I've been doing the Fierce Fitness thing for a while and have to say that I am more confident about myself and my abilities.  It's gotten to the point where it's almost addictive and I have to come in.  If I happen to miss a workout, I feel that I have missed something out of my day.  The reason being, I'm just too scared to quit.  I remember how I felt and looked before I started and I do not want to go back to that person again.  I'm not quite where I want to be with my body, but I am gaining ground.

I have been working out in the mornings with Sophia and some other people who, I must say, have been supportive of me since my very first day and I cannot thank them enough.  This support has helped me get through the workouts on the days when it seems tough and it's what keeps me coming in every day.  The workouts are fun and are as hard as you make them.

Healthwise, I've noticed a great improvement and my doctor has noticed as well.  I have recently received some great news on some tests, which surprised me.  I had to double check a couple of things to make sure the doctor was right, and he was.  The Commit to Be Fit program comes with a nutritional guideline that you can follow to get the best results.

Yes, Fierce Fitness can be pretty pricey, but let's put this into perspective a bit.  Would you rather spend money on a fun, rewarding fitness program and get into shape and be healthy or would you spend as much money and more on doctor bills because you are so unhealthy and out of shape?  I know which one I've chosen.

Sure, you could go to 24 Hour Sleepfest or L.A. Sleepfest and run on a treadmill, but you will not get the workout you deserve if you go to those places.  Also, what's so fun about running on a treadmill?  At Fierce Fitness, at least you get to kick and punch some things.

Fierce Fitness is definitely not for the faint of heart; however, if you do join, and stick with it, it will make your heart stronger.

My experience with Fierce Fitness has been so incredibly amazing.  I have to admit, I was very apprehensive coming in to the program given how out of shape I had become.  I was doing everything wrong!  I was at the point where shopping had become a necessity because I was gaining weight faster and faster.  This coupled with diabetes in my family meant I needed to readjust my priorities.  I had read great reviews about Fierce Fitness and knew I needed to give them [and me!] a try.  After a ten week program, I had lost over 6% body fat and over 12 inches all over my body!  While I lost almost 20 pounds, I didn't even care about that as how I was looking and feeling and fitting into my clothes was the best feeling I'd had in a long time.  As if these results weren't enough, Fierce Fitness rewarded me with the title of 2010 Challenge winner!  When I think back to how scared I was to take this huge change on and how far I came in such a short time, I'm still floored.  This program really works and you'd be amazed at how quickly your body and mind adapt.

The experience with the trainers has been so inspirational, accurate and supportive, that I just can't imagine having gone anywhere else to get my life and health back on track.  My first phone call resulted in having a few discussions and email exchanges with Candace - she was so supportive and helpful and my anxiety, while still there, diminished.  The information we received and the opportunity to ask questions at the beginning and later check ins only maintained the momentum and provided further education about nutrition.  I know many issues with programs out there is how boring they can become, but this is something I've never experienced with FF.   The classes with Sophia were and continue to be amazing.  She pushes you and inspires you and the diversity of each and every class is honestly at times unbelievable.  She is consistent in her dedication to showing you the most you can get out of every move and without her feedback regarding the nutrition, which is critical and guidance with appropriate form while working out, I know I would not have received those kinds of results.

I had to take some time off from FF due to some personal family matters over the past several months, but have been back for two weeks now and have found that my body is already readjusting and becoming stronger and stronger with each workout.  I intend to reach my ideal goal in 2011 and know I can and will do it with FF.

I am still in awe at how incredible the results have been and am forever committed to Fierce Fitness.  Thank you for everything you guys continue to do!

12/27/2010

My only experience kickboxing before joining Fierce Fitness' Commit to be Fit program resulted in a torn ACL, so I was a little apprehensive... but a friend of mine convinced me to give it a shot. After my first 10 weeks, I had lost 9.15 pounds of fat, 2 inches off of my waist, and 1.25 inches off of each thigh!

I've worked out on my own for years. Fierce gives me what I wasn't giving myself: a true challenge. I have never done the same workout twice the whole time I've been going to Fierce. There is so much variety, my body is constantly tricked and never gets used to doing the same movements over & over. We do the things that I would never do on my own: push ups, pull ups, jumping jacks... Over my first 10 weeks, I nearly doubled the number of push ups I could do in a minute. I have found that feeling strong is far more rewarding than any number on the scale or tape measure.

I recently took a break from Fierce in the hopes that I could take everything I've learned and do the same thing on my own. I found that the support system and inspiration just wasn't there so last week I headed right into Fierce to get back on the horse.

Moral of my long-winded review: try it. Come work out with me in the 6:30 am class and you won't be sorry! You'll have your workout behind you before you even start your workday. Plus, you can feel your metabolism rev up for the rest of the day. It's like having a personal trainer every day of the week, plus a group of instant friends who are on your side and want you to succeed and kick some serious ass.

FIERCE FITNESS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!!!!Goodbye boring gym workouts, overcrowded fitness centers and training sessions that cost far too much money with far little results. I joined the Fierce Team for Bootcamp challange kick off in February 2010 and completed 16 weeks of intense, major butt kicking, 5 day a week, classes. All of a sudden my arms were toned, I could run farther and faster, I learned martial arts and kickboxing, I got my nutrition under control, lost inches and 5% body fat and got in the best shape of my life. It wasn't long that I took a "break" from Fierce and realized that not only did I miss the intensity, accountability and instructors but I was starting to mentally feel the toll of not being in prime butt kicking condition. I returned after a 6 month hiatus feeling pretty somber and upset that I had to start all over again. I was shocked that in just weeks I had gained back my strength and was starting to really excel in class. It was amazing how quickly my body adjusted back to the routine of bootcamp. I had not run in 4 weeks and within 2 weeks back of class, I went out and ran 5 miles after taking a red eye across the country with ease!!! Not only was I feeling physically stronger but I felt like a different person entirely. My sleeping pattern got back on schedule, I was no longer lethargic during the day, mentally I snapped out of a funk and was feeling amazing again in my skin...speaking of skin...I've even noticed that my complection looks more radiant and blemish free! Co-workers and business associates have all commented on my complection, great curves and my great mood. Sometimes I honestly feel like Fierce Fitness saved me. I owe it all to Candice and Sophia.   I love the morning workouts because of the personal attention that we all get when the class doesn't have a million people in it. Sophia is awesome at critiquing and complimenting everyone on their form, motivating the group and just being there for us like your very own personal trainer 24/7.

I guarantee you that if you join, you will not only love the workout and how you feel but you will absolutely acheive results by following their nutrition plan and workouts.

I consider myself a lifer now with Fierce and cannot imagine ever quitting again. I cannot thank Fierce enough for what they have done for me!!! I feel stronger, healthier and sexier with every class.

12/15/2010

SERIOUSLY!  This is the BEST fitness program offering the CLEAREST results... I have participated in various programs over the years and am more impressed by the efficinecy of this program than any other.  In a 1 hour class I feel I get the workout of other classes taking twice the time.  The teachers are fabulous and highly motivating (through positive motivation, not mean degrading comments of other bootcamps I've participated in).  The other students are great support, driving you to push just a little further than you think you can - which makes all the difference in the world.  In 6 months I COMPLETELY changed my body.  Approaching 40 - it's so fabulous to have people meeting me for the first time ask "how do you stay in such amazing shape!?" and people who have watched my progress say "WOW, you look amazing!" - amazing is always a good word - FIERCE FITNESS IS AMAZING!

I simply can't say anymore - if you really want to do it, really want to get in shape - you are ___ if you don't do this program!  Yes, it is expensive, but what is your body  and your health really worth? SERIOUSLY - the BEST investment in ME I have EVER made.

I've been a member of Fierce Fitness Kickboxing gym for a year and a half now. The results I have obtained from this gym are simply amazing. I was suffering from a severe wake-boarding injury in my lower back when I started, and I am now able to kick, punch, and workout without pain! This is by far the most intense workout I have ever had, and this says a lot coming from a former fitness competitor and athlete~! The instructors work your butt off with intense, music blaring workouts that really get you pumped up and excited, and the food and nutrition menus they help you with get your body shredded FAST. In one six week session I lost 5% body fat and 4 dress sizes! And that was only six weeks of workouts! Don't wait to get into the best shape of your life! JOIN NOW!!

I never thought I'd be reviewing a fitness establishment.   That should tell you a lot about where I was when I started at Fierce Fitness.

I am a 39 year old woman who hasn't exercised beyond 'brisk walks' in over 20 years.   With rheumatoid arthritis and a 'bionic back' (I'm filled with spare parts and transient bone), it's been really easy to NOT be athletic.   Plus, I usually do not like 'group exercise' classes.   I'm allergic to Aerobics and Step classes.

But there was something about kickboxing that appealed to my my inner badass, so I had to check it out.   I knew I needed something challenging, well put together, and fun, not just some prepackaged fluff, to inspire me.

I found it.

I signed up for the 6 week (5x a week) Kickboxing Bootcamp.   Talk about diving head first into the deep end!   Hahaha.

I'm only partially through it, but I am in love.  I won't lie, every night, it's a love/hate/love relationship I have with this class.  I am working muscles that have been lying dormant for years.  On days where we're 'working on our core':  What core?  I don't have a core!?!  I'm building one from scratch on pain receptors and pixie dust.

But I'm telling you what, I'm already feeling the difference.   After a week, on the first day that I had no class scheduled,  I was like, "Um...I should be doing something.  Something's missing."   That quick, this has become a habit.  A GREAT habit.

The bootcamp isn't cheap (and I am), so it was a big commitment for me, but you know what?  Worth it.  SO worth it.  From the super personalized fitness evaluation and nutrition guidance, to the nightly beatings with Candice, I can honestly say it's worth every penny and every drop of sweat.

The workout is hard.  It's intense.  And there's variety to it so you're not doing the same thing every night, which keeps it fun.  And with my hardware filled back and screwy joints, there are still only a couple things I just can't quite do (metal doesn't bend...and if it does, call 911), but there are so many ways to improvise so that you keep moving and keep your heart rate up.  Easy peasy.  Wait, no, not easy peasy.  At all. But you get the idea...I go home every night looking like someone took a hose to me.

My body, while sore, already feels better, my clothes are already feeling different, and I can't recommend this class enough to everyone who wants to take charge of their lives and get healthy and FIT.

There are no excuses.   Trust me, I've thought of 'em all.

12/8/2010 - update

Ok, I wrote my first review when I was partially through my first 6 Week Commit to be Fit Bootcamp.   A lot has changed since then.

One of the things that has NOT changed is my absolute satisfaction with this place!    I can't say enough good things!

At the end of the first 6 weeks, I had my body stats recorded, and holy wow:  Down 9% body fat, 3" off my hips, 3" off my tummy, 3" off my waist, and 1" off each thigh and arm.  And I lost nearly 20 lbs on top of it all (probably more than that considering all the muscle I have built)  AFTER 6 WEEKS!

6 weeks of kicking my rear 5 times a week and following a super simple nutrition plan based on something crazy - common sense.

I signed up immediately for a second 6 week bootcamp.

I'm now about half way through my second bootcamp and, while I haven't had my stats taken yet, I know I'm down at least another 10 lbs.    I'm in a size of jeans I haven't worn in nearly 20 years.

I FEEL BETTER AT NEARLY 40 THAN I FELT IN MY 20s.   YES I'M SHOUTING.  I CAN'T HELP IT.

And my arms - I have always hated what I call my 'truck driver arms'.  I mentioned this when they were taking my beginning stats, and Sophia said, "Well maybe we can turn them into your favorite part of your body."   I laughed - yeah RIGHT.    There is no way that's going to happen.

Now I LIKE MY ARMS.   I think that is the most shocking part of all of this since my hatred of my arms was so passionate.  LOL

So I'll say it again - if you're on the fence about this program, don't be.  Go sign up, your body will thank you for it!

OOOOOOuuuuuch!!  It hurts so good!!

Tired of all the wimpee cardio kickboxing classes at 24, LA fitness, Club Sport, etc. (yes, I really have tried them all), I found my interest peaked when I ran across Fierce Fitness.  Tucked behind a

n unassuming strip mall in Multnomah Village, you could sneeze and miss the place... but let me tell ya, that would be your loss!  If Jillian Michaels had a nicer sister, it would be their main instructor Candace.  Definitely not a softy when it comes to workouts, Candace still provides motivation and individual instruction to make sure your form is correct and your getting the most out of your workout.

With a membership you get your own pair of boxing gloves (and even though they come in a variety of colors, these things are legit and good quality) and a pair of hand wraps.... yeah, Rocky has NOTHIN' on me!  Monthly dues are based on the number of times per week you attend class and if your used to 24 Hour Fitness prices, you might be in for a bit of sticker shock... its not cheap.... but neither is the quality of the classes and equipment.  You get what you pay for.

Not for the feint of heart, Fierce Fitness also offers a Kickboxing Bootcamp that includes class 5 days a week for 6 weeks plus nutritional guidance... yeah... you know your gonna see results.

So while my body aches from head to toe after class this evening, my inner-Rocky has found its worthy opponent... I WILL be back...
