"I've been training at Fierce Fitness for about 8 months now. I love kickboxing! It's FUN! Who knew punching and kicking a bag could be so fun and liberating? It works all the major muscle groups, there's cardio and strength training. Everything wrapped into a 1 hour chunk of time. I am stronger than I have ever been in my entire life. I WANT to go workout, rather than force myself to. I can see evidence of my abs for the first time in my life. My clothes fit way better. And generally, I just look better. Personal story. Hmmmm. Well. Married at 22, to a guy who was pretty active. He encouraged me to exercise with him in various ways, but nothing really clicked with me. We tried mountain biking, weight lifting, which I did off and on for 15 years, step aerobics, running, yoga. I liked yoga the best, but never saw any changes in my body. I like walking and hiking. I stayed in pretty good shape after my first baby, but during my second pregnancy I had sciatica, and I was unable to exercise at all, and keeping up with my toddler was all I could manage. I gained more weight during that pregnancy. Then, after I had my bundle of joy, she wouldn't sleep and was colicky. No sleep or exercise for about a year. That really took a toll on the way my body looked and felt. My husband noticed your sign a while back, and suggested I look into it. He thought I would enjoy it. He finally looked into it for me, showed me the website, reassured me there wouldn't be anyone there that would try to kick me in the face or throw me to the ground, and I agreed to give it a try.
