Drew's Story:
"For anyone who thinks they are the only one who is struggling, let me tell you my story. This is a picture of me back when I first started Commit to Be Fit, actually, I think this was probably taken after my first six weeks, so, I was probably a little bigger than this to begin with. Anyway, I had high blood pressure and was on BP medication, I was on the verge of diabetes, and I couldn't even fit into the desks at the college I was attending at the time, which was extremely frustrating. I thought the desks were too small, but I realized that I was just too big and I had to change something.
I initially joined Commit to Be Fit to please my wife as she was on me to do something about my lifestyle. When I first began, I thought to myself that if I just go in and go through the motions, I'll be okay. Well, the very first day, I found out that the program was not a game. I couldn't even make it through the first 10 - 15 minutes during my first workout. I was in such bad shape it was unreal. After about 3 weeks, most of the soreness had gone away and I felt that I was making progress. After my very first six weeks into the program, I went to the doctor and my bp was finally normal, I'd lost a few inches, and some pounds of body fat, but I wanted more, so I kept going.
Overall, so far, I've lost almost 40 pounds of fat, over 11 inches on my stomach, and many inches elsewhere on my body.
Now, I've been doing the Fierce Fitness thing for a while and have to say that I am more confident about myself and my abilities. It's gotten to the point where it's almost addictive and I have to come in. If I happen to miss a workout, I feel that I have missed something out of my day.
I have been working out in the mornings with Sophia and some other people who, I must say, have been supportive of me since my very first day and I cannot thank them enough. This support has helped me get through the workouts on the days when it seems tough and it's what keeps me coming in every day.
Healthwise, I've noticed a great improvement and my doctor has noticed as well. I have recently received some great news on some tests, which surprised me. I had to double check a couple of things to make sure the doctor was right, and he was. The Commit to Be Fit program comes with a nutritional guideline that you can follow to get the best results.
Sure, you could go to 24 Hour Sleepfest or L.A. Sleepfest and run on a treadmill, but you will not get the workout you deserve if you go to those places. Also, what's so fun about running on a treadmill? At Fierce Fitness, at least you get to kick and punch some things.
"Commit to Be Fit" is definitely not for the faint of heart; however, if you do join, and stick with it, it will make your heart stronger."
